Administration for Children and Families, Office of Family Assistance
Family Assistance Program Specialist
Washington, DC
I am a program specialist with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Administration for Children and Families, Office of Family Assistance. I work with the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program at the federal level, a cash assistance program for needy families with children. I have been in my position for almost 8 years, and will soon be beginning a four month detail with the Office of Refugee Resettlement in my same agency, working in children's programs and unaccompanied refugee minor issues. I took Ann Masten's Coursera class on child resilience, and knew I had to attend this conference. I am excited to meet people and learn things that will progress my work forward.
