Janet Strike Schurman

Janet Strike Schurman is a psychologist at the New Frontiers School Board, working with students from age 4 to 18 years in both suburban and rural schools. She is a member of l’Association québécoise des psychologu! es scolaires. She specializes in assessment and interventions for children with special needs, particularly those with neuro-behavioural difficulties, such as autism spectrum disorders and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders. As a result of her work with these students, she has developed an interest in resilience and how schools can promote the development of resilience within their specific environments
