Gökmen Arslan has a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and is a lecturer in Faculty of Education, Department of Psychological Counseling and Guidance, Süleyman Demirel University where he lectures on education psychology, counseling and research design in counseling. He is also currently pursuing doctoral research at Dokuz Eylül University. His research explores the relationship between emotional abuse and resilience in adolescence. He specializes in resilience, emotional abuse and adolescence counseling. He has previously worked as a psychological counselor Turkey, and is an active member of the Turkish Psychological Counseling Association. He lives in Isparta, with his wife and child.
