Delphine Collin-Vezina

Dr. Delphine Collin-Vézina is the Tier II Canadian Child Welfare Research Chair, an Associate Professor in Social Work at McGill University, and the director of the McGill Centre for Research on Children and Families. She is a clinical and developmental psychologist with a strong interest in child welfare and child maltreatment. She completed a postdoctoral degree on the short- and long-term consequences of child sexual abuse and is currently working on designing early and effective therapeutic and preventative interventions to traumatized children. Dr. Collin-Vézina's research is informed by theoretical concepts in attachment and resiliency.
