Corrine Langill

Ms. Langill has been a nurse for close to 30 years. She has worked in intensive care, a needle exchange program, a sexual health clinic, sexuality education and adolescent health promotion. In 2005, she left Ottawa Public Health for CHEO, to lead the development of a mental health promotion program for young adolescents (Healthy Transitions). This program has now reached close to 75% of Grade 7 students in Ottawa, delivered by School Health Nurses and youth facilitators. Since 2006, she has been the Manager of Health Promotion and Injury Prevention at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO).
