I was born on April 7, 1973 in Klaten, Indonesia and received my Bachelor’s degree in 1996 from the Faculty of Psychology at the Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta. I continued to study as a psychologist at the same university and worked as a lecturer at the Faculty of Psychology, Atmajaya Catholic University of Indonesia, since 1999. My area of interest is on children with traumatic experiences, focusing on trauma, recovery, and resilience. I has had many experiences dealing with children in special need of protection, such as abused children, sexually exploited children, and children in a post-disaster situation.
