Wanda McDonald

Wanda McDonald is Manager of Addiction Services with the Nova Scotia Department of Health and Wellness. She holds Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Social Work and has over 20 years of experience working in both rural and urban settings in Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and abroad. In her current position Wanda is responsible for provincial policy development as well as contributing to numerous national projects. Prior to 2006, she worked with youth and families in a variety of treatment settings. Over the years she has volunteered with numerous boards and community groups, and is currently a member of the governing board member of the Children and Youth in Challenging Contexts Network, National Center of Excellence Project.
