Tessa Bell

Tessa Bell is a postdoctoral fellow, funded by the Ontario Mental Health Foundation, at the University of Ottawa. Her postdoctoral research relates to the topic of resilience and risk among children and youth in out-of-home care. Specifically, she is interested in what risk and protective factors contribute to resilience, working from an ecological perspective. She is also interested in learning how child welfare workers, foster parents, and children themselves conceptualize resilience.
