Robert Louis is a PhD Candidate in Applied Human Sciences, at the University of Montreal, Lecturer at Laurentian University Sudbury and coordinator of York Centre in Hawkesbury. He is interested in the positive development of young people, suicide prevention and resilience factors in maltreated children. Speaker at the World Congress on Suicide in 2013, He has been invited a few times on CBC Radio Canada to comment resilience among young people, as well as innovations in intervention and suicide prevention. Robert Louis was one of the speakers at the annual conference of the Supervised Visitation Network (Toronto, 2013). He also presented a series of conferences for health professionals, which were broadcasted live from the Montfort Hospital in Ottawa by the National Health Consortium - (University of Ottawa), as part of its program of professional excellence in collaboration with the University of Moncton (2012-2014).
