Laurie McCubbin

Dr. Laurie “Lali” McCubbin, Associate Professor in counseling psychology, is an indigenous/multiracial scholar at Washington State University. Her research involves: resilience and well-being among indigenous peoples and people of color, cultural identity development, and stress and coping processes among multiracial families. She is the past Co-Chair of the Center of Mestizo and Indigenous Research and Engagement and served as Chair for the Committee for Children, Youth and Families for APA. She is the Executive Director of the Resilience and Well-Being Project where she oversees measures on family resilience and also provides counseling services for children and families in private practice.
