Jim Anderson

Jim Anderson has worked and conducted research in early and family literacy for nearly three decades. He has received funding from the Canadian Council on Learning, SSHRC, UBC Hampton Research Fund, and provincial and federal departments and ministries to support his research. In 2011, he received the Academic of the Year Award from the BC Confederation of University Faculty Associations, recognizing the contribution of his research and scholarship to the broader community. He is on the Advisory Board of the Goodling Institute for Research in Family Literacy, the Literacy Research Panel of the International Reading Association, and five journals.
